Inner Light is a solo contemporary dance piece that explores our inherent connection to one another. Rachel utilizes found text, personal poetry, light and shadow to generate movement. She is interested in challenging separatist belief systems by remembering the importance of connection and unity. She uses the metaphor “inner light” to signify our shared desire to love and be loved. All will be revealed through a multi-disciplined celebration of theatrical elements, dance and music.
